A little about me...

My name is Sam and I'm just a girl trying to induce change. My passion lies in sustainability, more specifically in creating a sustainable food system. This blog is my way of tracking and sharing my attempts to lower my carbon footprint by eating local-grown, whole foods.

Some Rules to Eat By...

...Reduce the amount of animal flesh and secretions that you consume. They are not healthy for your body or the environment.

...Buy local, unpackaged produce. The farmers' market is your friend!

...Buy bulk items. They are cheaper and less wasteful (don't forget to bring your own bags and containers!).

...Cook your own meals from real food.
