Sauteed Bosc Pears
Ingredients:
2 Bosc pears, halved and cored
2 T oil
2 T maple syrup
1/2 c toasted walnuts
1/2 nutmeg, grated
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
Directions:
Heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add pears, cut side down, and saute for about 5 minutes, until golden brown.
Flip pears and drizzle on maple syrup, saute for a few more minutes, until soft.
Transfer pears into serving dishes and reserve maple syrup.
Mix reserved maple syrup with spices and pour over pears.
Sprinkle walnuts onto sauteed pears.
